Specifications

Equipped with SunPower monocrystalline silicon solar cells, the Vanpowers SP200 solar panel’s conversion efficiency is as high as 23%. With its ETFE film allowing for up to 95% light transmittance, it can absorb 40,000 lx in intense sunlight. It also performs better than polycrystalline solar panels in low-light conditions and much better than the market average overall. Built-in 45-degree kickstands let you keep your solar panels at the optimal angle to fully absorb that sunshine.
The Vanpowers SP200 has IP65-rated dust and water resistance and won’t deform, fade, or get scratched, making it an ideal combo for outdoor activities like camping and hiking. ETFE film provides extra protection against ultraviolet light, prolonging the lifespan of the product. A double-zipper storage bag is included to help protect the panel, cable, and ports during travel.
We always strive to spread the word about utilizing a more powerful resource to generate electricity through Mother Nature—the Sun. Our SP200 is here to do the work. You can connect it in series or in parallel for more solar power when charging high-energy items like power stations, building the foundation of your off-grid power system with ease.
Different power stations have different input voltage and current limits. Please use the appropriate power station according to the output parameters of the solar panel. The recommended power station for SP200 is SP1500/SP200 portable power station.
Step 1. Snap the male connector of one solar panel into the female
the connector of the other respectively to wire the three solar panels
in series.
Step 2. Wire the two connectors that are unwired in step 1 with the Solar Charging Cable (MC4 to Anderson, DC5521, DC7909, and car charger cable) respectively.
Step 3. Connect the solar panels and the solar power cable with the power station input.
Note: The four different connection ports of MC4 to Anderson, DC5521, DC7909, and car charger cable are to adapt to different energy storage batteries, please choose different ports according to the battery you use, and only connect one of them at a time (Anderson/DC5521 /DC7909/car charger port).
Step 1.Connect the positive poles of the two solar panels with the MC4 parallel cable and repeat the step for the negative poles.
Step 2. Connect the parallel cable connectors (output side) with the MC4 connectors of the Solar Charging Cable (MC4 to Anderson, DC5521, DC7909, and car charger cable) respectively.
Step 3. Connect the Solar Charging Cable(MC4 to Anderson, DC5521, DC7909, and car charger cable) to the input port on the portable power station to recharge the unit.
Note: The four different connection ports of MC4 to Anderson, DC5521, DC7909, and car charger cable are to adapt to different energy storage batteries, please choose different ports according to the battery you use, and only connect one of them at a time (Anderson/DC5521 /DC7909/car charger port).
The Vanpowers SP200 is foldable, compact, and lightweight at just 16 lbs., and it comes with its own carrying case, so you can take it anywhere! Once you arrive at your destination, simply take it out, unfold it, and set it up with its kickstands to get maximum sun exposure.
Increase the efficiency of your solar panel by facing it directly at the sun without any obstructions. Remember to be careful when handling your solar panel because damaged cells provide less power.
This product complies with the dustproof standard IP65(main panel part). IP65 means that it will not enter(dust) and is not adversely affected by direct jets from any direction.
First, use soft brush to remove dust on the surface. Then wipe the surface of the solar panel with a damp cloth to remove bird porridge and other adhesives from the surface of the solar panel as soon as possible.
A. The sunlight intensity.
B. Ambient temperature.
C. The angle you place the solar panel to sunlight.
D. The length of the solar charging cable(for third-party cables).
Yes, if you have a suitable balcony where you can sunbathe and you can use solar panels for power.
Please refer to the operating instructions of the device. Please contact the manufacturer directly for the first charging adapter and more information.
Yes, due to lower charging efficiency in cloudy weather, it takes longer, but it can be charged.
As you know, solar panels are affected by many factors. such as the intensity of the light and the angle of the panel put on the ground. 200W is tested in an ideal laboratory. However, the intensity of the light constantly changes. In addition, the angle of the light illuminating the solar panel also changes with the rotation of the sun. Please try to test your solar panel under full sunlight to see, and make sure there is no shadow cast on the panel.
